Full Day/Part Day/Hourly Care

Ages 6 weeks-Kindergarten

CDCs are on-post child care centers that offer full-day, part-day and hourly care for children in nationally accredited environments.

Full Day Full day child care is available at Camp Walker CDC for 5 to 12 hours per day. Services are offered for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old.
Part Day Preschool / Toddler Camp Walker CDC offers Part Day programming 3 hour/day with a choice of 5 days, 3 days, or 2 days per week.  The program operates 0830-1130 and follows the Daegu Elementary School schedule; on school out days, the CDC Part Day program is not available.

Before and After School Care for Universal PreK (UPK)

 Before and after school care is provided for UPK children Monday-Friday mornings from 0530-0700 and after school until 1800. CYS provides transportation to Daegu Elementary School for children enrolled in care.
Hourly Care Camp Walker CDC offers hourly care by reservation only.  Parents must attend a Parent Orientation prior to care being provided.

*Child & Youth Services registration may be completed at the CDC for children of all ages.*

CDC Hourly Care

Need flexible childcare on your schedule? CDC Hourly Care offers a convenient, short-term option for families who need reliable care for a few hours at a time. Whether you have appointments, errands, or simply need a break, this program is designed to support your day-to-day needs with trusted, quality care.

Available for children ages 6 weeks through 5 years, hourly care is provided in a safe, nurturing, and nationally accredited Child Development Center environment.

Hourly care is offered by reservation and is based on space availability, making it a great option for occasional or as-needed childcare. All children must be registered with Child & Youth Services (CYS), and parents are required to complete a brief orientation prior to using the service.

This program gives families the flexibility they need while ensuring children are engaged in a structured, caring environment led by trained professionals.

Parent Outreach Services in the CDC

CYS offers Parent’s Night Out (Friday nights) or Parent’s Day Out (Saturdays) opportunities throughout the year. Children must be registered with CYS to participate. The program is available to children aged 6 weeks through 5th grade.
