The Youngnam Alps are known for an abundance of silver grasses in the fall and breathtaking beauty. Hike at your own pace or sit and relax in the cooler mountain air (round trip-3hrs), before moving on to the Amethyst Cave. At the cave we will take a boat ride and you can also enjoy a circus show in the cave.
The Gangwon Museum offers a wide range of artifacts and artworks, including natural history and ceramics, metal crafts, folklore, religion, woodcraft, and stone crafts collected from around the world. The cave is a place with a beautiful land- scape of outdoor stalactites that are popular these days! We will also stop by one of the largest limestone caves with a Monorail in Asia, and the biggest in Korea.
