In Korea the Birthday of Buddha is celebrated according to the Lunar calendar. May 27th, 2023, is Buddha’s Birthday. It is a carnival day when Korean culture and tradition is celebrated. The Samgwangsa Temple in Busan is a must-see temple in Korea!
This temple has thousands of brightly colored lanterns that are strung up across the temple to celebrate the Buddha’s Birthday! Before we go to this Temple, we will enjoy a river cruise ship in Busan.
