Hansan Battle Festival Tour (Tong-Yeong)

In order to realize the great victory of the Battle of Hansan, a memorial service is held every year in mid-August to commemorate the general's victory in Tongyeong, the birthplace of the Battle of Hansan, which is considered the largest of the four major naval forces. The character lanterns of the three cities (Goyang, Jinju, and Tongyeong) that fought against the Japanese invasions of Korea and the night lights of the Tongyeong Traditional Yeon are on display. You  can enjoy a water park, market, workshop experience, Admiral Yi Sun-sin's naval battle and barracks experience, Samdo Naval Control Command barracks experience, traditional drum sound experience, and Joseon Naval food experience. On this day, a Trot celebration performance and the 2024 Tonight Tongyeong fireworks display will also be held.
